What's in a Dignity Kit?

  • underwear

  • sanitary items

  • a toothbrush and toothpaste

  • shampoo and a hairbrush

  • hand sanitiser

What makes hygiene a priority during emergencies?

Maintaining health and hygiene becomes a very serious and urgent issue for women, because periods do not stop in a crisis.

When access to sanitary products becomes near impossible, many women resort to using unhygienic and unfit materials. Women find themselves at risk of health issues that are otherwise preventable – including urinary tract infections, toxic shock syndrome and reproductive problems.
